Program Testing Manager to join our PMO
and oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of all testing activities for new program launches.As a Program Test Manager, you will work closely with Product, IT, Operations teams and Project Managers to develop and execute the overall test strategy, create detailed test plans, manage the testing team, and ensure quality throughout the implementation process. This position offers you the opportunity to play a key role in Likewize’s global business impact and customer service strategy.
Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Developing and implementing overall end to end test strategies, resources, and methods that align with business objectives for new programs and products
- Creating comprehensive test plans and procedures to meet project goals, business requirement acceptance criteria, and quality standards.
- Managing and mentoring assigned testing leads, assigning tasks and ensuring high-quality testing is delivered on time.
- Oversight of the execution of test cases and scripts, ensuring thoroughness and efficiency
- Regular performance reporting including overall test execution progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders
- Identifying and mitigating testing risks, triaging and troubleshooting system or journey issues, bugs and defects, and reporting on their status to relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinating with project managers, product managers, scrum masters, and other departments to align testing efforts and outputs with the overall project lifecycle.
- Fostering a culture of continuous improvement by driving the adoption of efficient testing tools, processes, performance standards, and frameworks.
Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of relevant experience in Program/Project Management; Product, IT/Technology or prior experience within the telecom, tech, or extended warranty/insurance industry preferred.
- Advanced working knowledge in SDLC, Scrum, and web technologies.
- Proficiency with Excel, SQL, PowerPoint, Jira, Visio, MS Project (or other project planning software)
- Professional certifications such as TQM, PMP, Prince2, or IT certifications like CompTIA ITF+ highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience as follows:
- Stakeholder management and resource planning
- Executing multiple projects simultaneously
- Delegating complex tasks in a simple way
- Effective communication and collaboration with a broader audience
- Proactive risk mitigation
- Strong documentation and organization skills
- Ability to comprehend high-level customer journeys and product solutions
