You’ll enable building India’s most future-facing development sector organisation; one that arms young women from underprivileged backgrounds with the tools, skills, and confidence to thrive in the AI-driven world of work.
Imagine helping a farmer’s daughter launch her own YouTube channel, or upskilling her to land a job in a futuristic start-up. That’s what Nimaya does.
Co-founded in 2021 by social entrepreneurs - Navya Naveli Nanda and Samyak Chakrabarty, Nimaya is a not-for-profit career accelerator for women with big dreams.
Why can’t a rickshaw driver's daughter land a job at Google? Unlike traditional skill-building NGOs, Nimaya is laser-focused on preparing women for the AI-powered digital economy; not just with skills, but with aspiration and identity. To date, Nimaya has empowered 3,900+ Nimaya Naaris across Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Haryana through partnerships with UN Women, Mumbai Police, SEWA, FICCI-FLO, and more.
