Professor - Management (MBA)

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching & Curriculum Development

• Deliver engaging, research-based lectures in core MBA subjects such as Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Leadership, and Entrepreneurship.
• Develop and revise course syllabi, learning materials, case studies, and assessments.
• Utilize innovative teaching methods, including case-based learning, simulations, group projects, and technology-enhanced instruction.
• Evaluate student performance through exams, assignments, presentations, and class participation.

2. Research & Scholarly Activity

• Conduct high-quality research in business, management, or related fields.
• Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at academic conferences.
• Seek research grants, industry partnerships, and collaborative opportunities.

3. Student Mentoring & Advising

• Advise MBA students on academic progress, career development, and research projects.
• Supervise capstone projects, theses, or internships.
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

4. Service to Institution

• Participate in departmental meetings, accreditation activities, and curriculum development initiatives.
• Contribute to committee work, faculty governance, and institutional strategic planning.
• Support recruitment activities, open houses, and employer engagement events.

5. Industry Collaboration

• Maintain strong ties with industry leaders to enhance curriculum relevance and job-market alignment.
• Invite guest speakers, facilitate workshops, and develop experiential learning opportunities.
• Support corporate training programs, consulting projects, and executive education.

Qualifications Required:-

• Doctorate (Ph.D., & MBA or equivalent) in Business, Management, or related discipline.
• Min. 10 years of experience post doc. with a total of at least 15 years of academics experience.
• Demonstrated teaching excellence at the graduate level.
• Strong research record with publications in reputable journals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred

• Academic/Industry experience in management, consulting, finance, or related fields.
• Experience teaching in an MBA or executive education program.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital pedagogies.
• Contributions to curriculum design, accreditation (NAAC, NBA, etc), or program leadership.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹85,000.00 - ₹200,000.00 per month
