The Role
A Professional Services Engineer (PSE) is a specialist role that bridges the gap between a company's product and its customers, focused. They handle tasks like analyzing requirements, developing customized integrations, migrating data, and ensuring the product integrates smoothly with the client's existing IT infrastructure. Essentially, they are responsible for the successful implementation and use of the company's product within the customer's environmentThe role will involve 80% on-premise data migrations to the cloud, Intune, and M365. We need CVs that highlight at least two of these skills. Currently, we are receiving candidates with Cloud DevOps experience, some of whom have basic knowledge of M365. However, we do not want candidates who are primarily Cloud DevOps; they will not meet our needs.
Customer Impact. You will be a trusted point of contact throughout the implementation process for customers. You will demonstrate RM’s unique understanding of the education environment. At implementation, you will ensure that all technical deliverables have been achieved to a high standard.
Project Impact. At implementation, you will be a key project team member, ensuring consistent technical delivery and being responsible for implementing all technical deliverables.
ICS Function Teams. Professional Services Engineers will work with all other parts of the ICS Function, including Project Management, Technical Architecture, and Service Transition teams, to ensure that the Service operational teams have everything they need with the new or changed service following implementation and that it has been fully implemented to the required scope.

- Implementation of all Technical Deliverables
- Maintenance of Technical Implementation documentation
- Keeping Technical skills current
- Continuous improvement – Help grow and strengthen RM Products and Services by providing implementation feedback.
Implementation
- Work with key external stakeholders to ensure that all technical deliverables will be delivered to a high standard.
- Work with the Project Team to ensure all technical deliverables are met. Provide regular updates on progress to the project team.
- Review and accept work instructions from the Technical Architecture Teams.
- Deliver to the defined Technical Acceptance criteria.
- Ensure areas for continuous improvement are identified and acted upon
- Work with the customer to ensure that project acceptance is completed.
- Work with the service transition teams to hand over the project into the live environment.
Support and Governance
- Provide support to other team members.
- Provide feedback on Professional Services Technical work instructions to ensure.
- Provide peer review and feedback on implementation issues.
- Provide expertise on technical aspects of customer complaints.
Skills And Experience
You will have proven experience of:
- Providing installation services in a customer environment
- Managing a customer through change
- Working with several different internal stakeholders to deliver Project success.

- Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Intune and cloud printing solutions.
- Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace services.
- Cloud platform Administration - Entra, M365 and Google.
- OneDrive/SharePoint/Teams.
- Windows Server 2022, 2019: Active Directory, DNS, GPOs.
- Cloud Backup and Antivirus solutions.
- Migrating from on-premises to the cloud.
- IP Addressing, Subnetting and VLAN knowledge.
