Role Overview

The Production Supervisor will support the Production Manager in executing daily fabrication operations. This includes overseeing shop floor activities, maintaining production quality, coordinating manpower, and ensuring safety, accuracy, and timely dispatch of materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise cutting, welding, drilling, assembly, painting, and dispatch operations.
• Allocate manpower and monitor daily productivity of welders, fitters, and helpers.
• Verify drawing references, BOM items, and job cards before starting fabrication.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy, welding quality, and surface preparation as per QAP standards.
• Maintain records of daily production output, rework, and machine utilization.
• Conduct in-process inspections and coordinate with the QC team for stage checks.
• Monitor raw material consumption and report shortages to the Production Manager.
• Implement 5S, safety, and housekeeping discipline in all work zones.
• Check paint coating thickness, material tagging, and proper loading for dispatch.
• Assist in training new operators and promoting continuous improvement.

Skills & Capabilities

• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.
• Technical knowledge of PEB fabrication, welding symbols, and drawing reading.
• Good communication with shop floor workers and coordination with Design / QC teams.
• Awareness of QAP, ISO, and safety procedures.
• Basic computer skills (Excel / ERP / Google Sheets) for daily reporting.
• Ability to handle shift operations independently.

Capacity

• Supervise 15–25 manpower per shift and ensure output of 300–750 tons/month with 100% quality compliance.

Eligibility

• Diploma / ITI (Mechanical / Fitter / Welder).
• 2 – 4 years of experience in PEB / Structural Steel Fabrication.
• Knowledge of welding electrodes, painting systems, and alignment tools preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (negotiable based on experience).
