Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Fabrication & Production Management: Supervise and manage daily operations of fabrication, welding, testing, and powder coating lines. Review and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and 3D models. Plan production schedules, allocate manpower, and ensure daily targets are achieved. Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics departments to ensure smooth workflow. Quality & Process Control: Inspect components for dimensional accuracy, finish, and compliance with design standards. Identify and correct welding defects, process deviations, and rework issues. Maintain high-quality output while adhering to safety and environmental guidelines. Lean Manufacturing & Improvement: Apply Lean manufacturing principles to improve productivity and reduce waste. Recommend improvements to fabrication fixtures, workstation layouts, and process flow. Track and analyze production data using Excel reports and performance dashboards. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of 20+ operators, welders, and helpers. Conduct training on fabrication techniques, equipment handling, and safety practices. Ensure discipline, teamwork, and effective communication on the shop floor.
