Job Description

Roles and responsibilities: Production Scheduling: Develop and maintain a dynamic production schedule to efficiently meet customer demands. Coordination with Departments: Collaborate closely with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure a seamless workflow and timely delivery. Capacity Planning: Evaluate and optimize production capacities, providing recommendations for improvements or adjustments as needed. Risk Assessment: Identify potential production challenges and proactively develop contingency plans to mitigate risks. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with relevant departments to promptly address issues and ensure a smooth production process. Continuous Improvement: Implement and monitor process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce production costs. Adherence to Standards: Ensure strict compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and production guidelines. Lead Time Management: Manage lead times for raw materials, production, and delivery to meet and exceed customer expectations. Collaboration with Sales: Coordinate with sales teams to align production plans with accurate sales forecasts and customer orders. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including schedules, reports, and inventory levels. Inventory Control: Monitoring Inventory from RM (Raw Material) to PM (Packaging Material), future prediction of the needs of RM and PM as per the order received. Problem Resolution: Address and resolve production-related issues promptly to minimize disruptions and maintain workflow efficiency. Cost Control: Monitor production costs and proactively work towards implementing cost-effective production methods without compromising quality. Qualifications and Skills: Any degree in a relevant field. 5+ years experience in production planning within the Cosmetics or Pharmaceuticals Industry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with ERP systems, creating SOPs, maintaining reports like BMR,MIS, etc. and production planning tools.
