Production Planner

As an Assistant Manager at our company located in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, you will play a crucial role in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Warehouse, and Logistics operations within the paper industry or manufacturing sector. Your responsibilities will include: - Production Planning & Control: - Creating production schedules based on forecasts and material availability - Coordinating with teams to ensure smooth operations and reduce downtime - Monitoring work in progress (WIP) and finished goods for optimal stock levels - Utilizing SAP S/4HANA (or ERP) for planning and tracking - Identifying bottlenecks and recommending improvements - Warehouse Management: - Managing storage, retrieval, and dispatch operations - Ensuring inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits - Maximizing space utilization and applying FIFO/LIFO principles - Ensuring safe handling of materials - Introducing automation and digital tools for operational efficiency - Logistics & Dispatch: - Planning timely dispatches to meet delivery schedules - Coordinating with logistics partners for cost-effective transport solutions - Ensuring compliance with GST, E-Way bills, and other regulatory requirements - Tracking freight costs and suggesting savings opportunities - Utilizing real-time tracking for logistics operations - Coordination & Reporting: - Collaborating with Sales, Procurement, and Finance teams for effective planning - Reporting production, inventory, and logistics KPIs regularly - Driving continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S - Training and mentoring teams to enhance performance Additionally, you should possess: - Strong knowledge of production scheduling, inventory management, and supply chain processes - Experience in handling warehouse and logistics operations - Familiarity with GST, E-way Bills, and other regulatory compliances - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and leadership abilities - Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure The compensation offered is competitive and aligned with industry standards, based on your experience and qualifications.,
