Production Planner

Here is a summary of the job description: Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and customer orders. Your coordination with procurement, quality assurance, warehouse, and manufacturing teams will be crucial to align production plans. Monitoring production progress, ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements, and proposing solutions to improve production flow will also be part of your role. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain detailed production plans based on sales forecasts, inventory levels, and customer orders. - Coordinate with procurement, quality assurance, warehouse, and manufacturing teams to align production plans. - Monitor production progress and adjust schedules to avoid delays. - Ensure planning aligns with cGMP, regulatory requirements, and internal quality standards. - Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to improve production flow. - Prepare production reports and key performance indicators for senior management. - Manage material requirement planning to ensure raw material availability. - Participate in capacity planning and long-term production strategy development. - Ensure documentation and planning systems are up to date and accurate. Qualifications Required: - 4 - 8 years of experience in production planning in pharmaceutical manufacturing (formulations). - Educational qualifications: B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc / MBA. - Location: Pipan, Ahmedabad.
