Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

●      Prepare and negotiate costings with buyers, ensuring competitive pricing and profitability.

●      Act as the primary point of contact between buyers and internal production teams, facilitating seamless communication.

●      Resolve critical issues related to production, sampling, and buyer feedback promptly and effectively.

●      Oversee the production process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and deadlines.

●      Provide leadership and guidance to the merchandising team, delegating tasks efficiently and mentoring junior staff.

●      Monitor and manage order progress from sampling to final production.

●      Collaborate with the design and quality assurance teams to align on buyer specifications.

Job Requirements:

●      Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Management, or a related field.

●      Minimum 6-7 years of merchandising experience in the garment or fashion industry, including at least 4-5 years of mandatory experience in denim.

●      In-depth understanding of garment costings, production workflows, and quality standards.

●      Preferable expertise in denim and chino production, with exposure to tops, shirts, and ladies' dresses.

●      Strong problem-solving skills to address production and sampling challenges.

●      Exceptional leadership skills to manage and motivate a team.

●      Excellent communication skills in both Hindi and English.

●      Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.

●      Must reside in Gurgaon or near Gurgaon sector 34.
