Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Supervisor/Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations and ensure that production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. As a key leader in our production team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the production floor, supervising staff, improving production workflows, and ensuring high-quality standards for our furniture products. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in the furniture industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Production Operations: Manage daily production activities to ensure timely and efficient production of high-quality furniture products, meeting both company standards and customer demands.
• Staff Supervision and Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of production workers, ensuring optimal performance, adherence to safety regulations, and continuous skill development.
• Quality Control: Monitor product quality and implement corrective actions where necessary to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and design integrity.
• Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to production workflows, machine utilization, and processes to maximize productivity and reduce waste or downtime.
• Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring that production targets are met on time, and that resources (materials, labor, and equipment) are efficiently allocated.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all production processes adhere to health and safety regulations and that the team follows safe working practices to minimize accidents or injuries.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the tracking of raw materials and finished products, ensuring adequate stock levels for uninterrupted production.
• Performance Reporting: Track and report on production performance, identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing corrective actions as needed to meet company goals.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a production supervisory/managerial role, with a focus on furniture manufacturing or a related industry.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage teams, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and team development.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of production processes, machinery, and tools used in furniture manufacturing (e.g., CNC machines, wood processing, upholstery techniques, etc.).
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve production issues quickly and efficiently.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, upper management, and suppliers.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Education: A degree or diploma in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
