Production Manager/Supervisor

As a Production Supervisor, your role involves directly overseeing the production process on the shop floor to ensure adherence to safety protocols and production schedules. You will supervise production activities and lead a team of production workers to achieve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise Production Activities: Directly oversee the production process on the shop floor, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and production schedules. - Interpret Drawings: Understand and interpret AutoCAD drawings to guide production workers and ensure accurate manufacturing. - Troubleshoot Problems: Identify and resolve production issues, collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams as needed. - Maintain Equipment: Ensure proper maintenance of production equipment and machinery. - Train and Support: Train new production workers and provide ongoing support to ensure efficient and effective operation. - Metal Fabrication Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of various metal fabrication processes, including welding, cutting, bending, and shaping. Key Skills: - AutoCAD Proficiency: Excellent skills in using AutoCAD software to create, interpret, and modify drawings. - Mechanical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes. - Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve production issues efficiently. - Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Leadership and Management: Ability to lead and motivate a team of production workers. - Attention to Detail: Accuracy and meticulousness in following plans and procedures. - Safety Awareness: Understanding of and adherence to safety regulations and practices.
