As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising production activities directly on the shop floor, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and production schedules. Your role will involve overseeing the production process, guiding production workers, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Key Skills required for this role include proficiency in AutoCAD software to create, interpret, and modify drawings, a strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials, and manufacturing processes, problem-solving abilities to efficiently identify and resolve production issues, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, leadership and management capabilities to lead and motivate a team of production workers, attention to detail in following plans and procedures accurately, safety awareness to adhere to safety regulations and practices. You will be expected to interpret AutoCAD drawings to guide production workers and ensure accurate manufacturing, troubleshoot production problems by collaborating with engineering and maintenance teams, maintain production equipment properly, train new production workers, and provide ongoing support for efficient operation. Additionally, having knowledge of metal fabrication processes such as welding, cutting, bending, and shaping will be beneficial for this role.
