Production Manager

• Level: Middle management.
• Scope: Responsible for the entire production process.
• Main Role: Plans, organizes, and controls production to meet targets efficiently.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Plan daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Allocate resources (machines, manpower, materials).
• Ensure production meets quality standards and deadlines.
• Coordinate with purchase, maintenance, quality control, and stores.
• Monitor costs, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.
• Report to Operations Manager, Plant Head, or Directors.
• Example: Deciding which orders to run first, ensuring raw material is available, and production lines are running smoothly.

2. Supervisor

• Level: First-line management.
• Scope: Responsible for a section or shift within production.
• Main Role: Directly oversees workers to ensure they follow production plans.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Assign tasks to operators according to the production manager’s plan.
• Monitor workers’ performance, safety, and attendance.
• Solve small problems on the shop floor.
• Report progress and issues to the production manager.
• Ensure quality checks are followed at each step.
• Example: Making sure the morning shift on Press Machine No. 3 meets its daily target and workers are wearing safety gear.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
