Position Overview:

Production Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Control:

• Develop and implement daily/weekly/monthly production schedules based on order priorities.
• Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.

• Team Management:

• Supervise operators, and helpers across all departments (cutting, pressing, assembly, finishing, packing).
• Conduct daily briefings and ensure discipline, training, and safety compliance.

• Quality & Process Improvement:

• Maintain high standards of product quality and dimensional accuracy.
• Work with QC team to identify root causes of defects and drive process improvements.
• Standardize work methods and implement SOPs for consistency.

• Material & Inventory Coordination:

• Collaborate with purchase and store teams for timely availability of materials.
• Monitor consumption, wastage, and yield efficiency.

• Maintenance & Equipment:

• Ensure preventive maintenance schedules for woodworking machines are followed.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams for minimal downtime.

• Reporting & Administration:

• Prepare daily production, manpower, and performance reports.
• Track key KPIs such as output per shift, rejection %, and on-time delivery.
• Present performance summaries to management weekly.

Requirements:

✅ Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering

✅ Strong leadership, problem-solving, and people management skills

✅ Working knowledge of production planning, quality control, and maintenance coordination

✅ Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP / production tracking tools

✅ Hands-on familiarity with woodworking machines (panel saws, presses, edge banders, etc.) preferred
