Role Description

Production In-Charge

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead

  daily rubber production activities

  across mixing, moulding, curing, and finishing sections.
• Ensure

  batch-weighing accuracy and compound uniformity

  via SCADA/intermix data monitoring.
• Optimize machine utilization, manpower planning, and shift scheduling to achieve production targets.
• Coordinate closely with

  QA/QC

  to maintain RDSO and ISO quality standards.
• Implement

  process-control systems

  , preventive maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvements (Kaizen/Lean).
• Support new product development and tooling trials alongside the design team.

⚙️ Requirements:

• Diploma / B.Tech in Rubber Technology, Polymer Science, or Mechanical/Production Engineering.

• 7 – 12 years

  of hands-on experience in

  rubber manufacturing – industrial or railway components preferred.

• Proven knowledge of

  rubber compounding, mould design, curing cycles, bonding agents,

  and

  quality parameters

  .
• Ability to manage 40 + shop-floor staff and coordinate across departments.
• Working knowledge of

  TQM, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and production planning tools.
