Role Description We are looking for a Production In-Charge with extensive experience in rubber compounding, moulding, and curing operations . The candidate will oversee the entire rubber production process — from raw-material batching to final inspection — ensuring product quality, process consistency, and efficient shop-floor management. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: Lead daily rubber production activities across mixing, moulding, curing, and finishing sections. Ensure batch-weighing accuracy and compound uniformity via SCADA/intermix data monitoring. Optimize machine utilization, manpower planning, and shift scheduling to achieve production targets. Coordinate closely with QA/QC to maintain RDSO and ISO quality standards. Implement process-control systems , preventive maintenance, and safety protocols. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement continuous improvements (Kaizen/Lean). Support new product development and tooling trials alongside the design team. ⚙️ Requirements: Diploma / B.Tech in Rubber Technology, Polymer Science, or Mechanical/Production Engineering. 7 – 12 years of hands-on experience in rubber manufacturing – industrial or railway components preferred. Proven knowledge of rubber compounding, mould design, curing cycles, bonding agents, and quality parameters . Ability to manage 40 + shop-floor staff and coordinate across departments. Working knowledge of TQM, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and production planning tools.
