Production Manager

1. Production Planning and Scheduling

• Develop daily/weekly/monthly production plans.
• Allocate resources (manpower, machinery, materials) efficiently.
• Ensure timely procurement of fabrics, trims, and accessories.

2. Supervising Production Process

• Monitor all stages of garment production — cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and minimize defects.
• Maintain workflow to meet deadlines and order quantities.

3. Quality Control & Assurance

• Collaborate with the QA team to maintain quality benchmarks.
• Implement in-line and final inspections.
• Troubleshoot recurring quality issues.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with merchandisers, designers, and the store/purchase department.
• Communicate with the factory floor team to resolve bottlenecks.
• Ensure clear flow of information across departments.

5. Efficiency and Productivity Management

• Analyze production data and improve line balancing.
• Reduce downtime and wastage.
• Motivate workers to achieve productivity targets.

6. Manpower Handling

• Supervise production staff, line supervisors, and operators.
• Plan shift rosters and assign duties.
• Address workforce issues and training needs.

7. Inventory & Material Management

• Track fabric and trim inventory usage and wastage.
• Ensure timely availability of production inputs.
• Minimize dead stock and overconsumption.

8. Cost Control

• Work on cost-effective production strategies.
• Monitor overtime, rework, and excess resource usage.
• Reduce cost per piece without compromising quality.

10. Reporting and Documentation

• Generate production reports: output, efficiency, rejection, delay analysis.
• Maintain accurate records for audits and review.
• Present progress reports to senior management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
