KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production Planning & Execution

• Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules in line with PPC targets.
• Plan resources, manpower, and machine utilization to meet output goals.
• Ensure adherence to production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Shop Floor & Process Management

• Implement and enforce

  Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

  and

  5S principles

  on the shop floor.
• Oversee the operation of equipment including:

• Cell Grading Machine

• IR Sorting Machine

• Automatic Laser Welding Machine

• Assembly Lines & Sub-Assembly Lines

• Battery Charging/Discharging Machines

• Ensure smooth workflow between assembly and subassembly processes.

Technical Expertise & Problem Solving

• Apply in-depth knowledge of

  cell chemistries

  (LFP, NMC, etc.) for product-specific requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and make data-driven decisions for process improvements.
• Analyze

  Target vs Output

  , identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

• Track and improve

  OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)

  and machine utilization metrics.
• Conduct

  Skill Matrix Development

  for operators and upskill teams accordingly.
• Optimize production processes to reduce downtime and waste.

People Management

• Lead, mentor, and motivate shop-floor teams to achieve production goals.
• Foster a culture of accountability, discipline, and continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance appraisals and recommend training programs.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to

  ISO

  IEC

  safety standards

  in battery manufacturing.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules in coordination with the maintenance team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERTISE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Industrial Engineering (or related field).
• 4+ years of experience in a

  lithium-ion battery manufacturing

  or

  EV battery pack assembly

  setup, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Hands-on experience with prismatic cells, cell grading, IR sorting, laser welding, and charging/discharging systems.
• Strong knowledge of PPC, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma tools preferred.
