Product Marketing Associate

About the Job:

As a Product Marketing Associate, you will play a unique hybrid role at the intersection of technology and marketing. You will be primarily responsible for supporting the go-to-market strategy of HotWax Systems

This role requires someone who is not only passionate about positioning and messaging but also willing to get hands-on with technology. You will learn, experiment, and write about OFBiz, AWS, and related systems to build credible product marketing content.

You will work closely with the Product Marketing Manager on global strategies that connect HotWax Systems with the target market. As part of the product marketing team, you’ll be responsible for creating compelling product content, including sales materials, go-to-market strategies, competitive research, and marketing collateral.

Responsibilities:

• Understand product-market fit and communicate it effectively.
• Develop product positioning, value propositions, and messaging for campaigns and product development.
• Partner with product management and engineering teams to determine strategy, roadmap, and success metrics.
• Create thought leadership content, case studies, and whitepapers based on OFBiz and HotWax Systems solutions.
• Perform hands-on exercises such as:
• Setting up Apache OFBiz locally or on cloud environments.
• Exploring AWS services (deployment, monitoring, configuration, etc.).
• Understanding internal development practices, deployment, and monitoring workflows.
• Translate technical concepts into simple, marketable insights and content.
• Review competitive offerings and ensure ongoing differentiation.
• Create sales enablement tools, presentations, and positioning documents.
• Build and maintain strong market knowledge by tracking industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
• Support sales enablement by training teams on buyer problems and solution value.

Qualifications:

• BE (Computer Science) + MBA (preferred) OR BE (Computer Science) with strong interest in both technology and marketing.
• Ability and willingness to engage with technical tools, software deployment, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent writing skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
• Passion for product positioning, messaging, and storytelling.
• Motivated self-starter who thrives in fast-paced marketing environments.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
