About The Role
We are seeking a visionary and hands-on
Product Manager
to lead the development and refinement of AI-driven solutions/products that support national security, humanitarian assistance, and social impact initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a background in
national security, behavioural science
, and a passion for creatively leveraging and using existing
AI technologies
to solve complex global challenges. You will conceptualize and build innovative products using existing AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure AI, Google Cloud AI, OpenAI) and work closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life. Experience in
gaming or simulation environments
is a strong plus, as we explore immersive and interactive tools for training, decision-making, and scenario planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead product strategy and roadmap for AI-powered tools aligned with mission-driven goals.
- Translate complex policy challenges into intuitive, scalable digital solutions.
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, subject matter experts, and external partners.
- Prototype and test solutions using platforms like Microsoft Copilot, Google Vertex AI, or OpenAI APIs.
- Integrate gaming mechanics or simulation features to enhance engagement and usability.
- Conduct user research with stakeholders in government, stakeholders and potential customers.
- Ensure compliance with ethical AI standards, data privacy, and national security protocols.
- Communicate product vision and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Experience in building AI driven solutions using existing tools and products.
- 5+ years of experience in product management or solution design – working and leading a team.
- Background in national security and/or social/behavioral science.
- Proven experience building or managing AI-driven products using existing platforms.
- Familiarity with tools like Azure AI, Google Cloud AI, OpenAI, or similar.
- Strong strategic thinking and user-centered design mindset.
- Experience with gaming, simulations, or interactive environments is a major plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with UX research and agile development.
- Knowledge of data ethics, responsible AI, and policy frameworks.
- Familiarity with federal contracting or international development environments.
- Passion for solving real-world problems through technology.
