The Opportunity:

We are looking for a strategic design leader who wants to lead a high-performance team while remaining a hands-on master of their craft.

You will take complete ownership of the user experience for our AI Agents Platform. You won't just receive requirements; you will shape them. You will be a key strategic partner to Engineering and Product leadership, entrusted to make critical product decisions, clear roadblocks, and drive the vision from concept to code.

What You'll Do:

• Lead & Mentor (The Coach): Manage and grow a focused team of product designers. You will foster their skills through regular feedback, design critiques, and career guidance, ensuring they are delivering their best work.
• Execute Critical Design (The Player): You will roll up your sleeves and own the design for our most complex and strategic initiatives. You will lead by example, shipping high-fidelity, production-ready UI in Figma for high-stakes features.
• Drive Strategy & Unblock Teams: You will act as a decision-maker. When the path forward is ambiguous, you will define it. You will proactively identify friction points between design and engineering and resolve them to keep the delivery pipeline moving fast.
• Be a Strategic Product Partner: You will collaborate at the leadership level with Product Managers and Engineers. You won’t just visualize features; you will challenge assumptions, suggest proactive improvements, and help define what we build to ensure business impact.
• Scale Design Operations: You will own the design system and our internal processes. You will ensure that as we scale, our design language remains consistent and our workflows remain efficient.

What We're Looking For:

• 8+ Years of Experience: You have a proven track record in product design, with at least 2+ years in a lead or management role where you mentored others.
• A True "Player-Coach": You are still a master of your craft. You have exceptional skills in both interaction (UX) and visual (UI) design. You are willing and able to jump into Figma to design alongside your team.
• Decisive Leadership: You are comfortable making hard calls. You can look at a stalled project, make a decision on the trade-offs between UX perfection and engineering feasibility, and unblock the team to ship value.
• Strategic Product Thinking: You think like a Product Manager. You care about metrics, user adoption, and business goals. You don't just design screens; you design systems that solve business problems.
• Mastery of Tools & AI: You are an expert in Figma and modern prototyping tools. You actively incorporate AI into your workflow to accelerate research and design efficiency, and you encourage your team to do the same.
• A Love for Complexity: You thrive on difficult challenges. Experience with B2B SaaS, workflow builders, developer tools, or AI-native products is a massive plus.
