Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the timely procurement of Machines & Engineering spares, consumables & services, QC consumables and equipment, Admin Services, and IT services at Zydus Lifesciences in Ambernath, Maharashtra. Key Responsibilities: - Understand user requirements for purchasing of spares, machines, services, consumables, QC chemicals & consumables, etc. - Prepare & develop bid documents to obtain competitive quotations. - Prepare techno-commercial comparisons. - Convert PR to PO as per Techno-Commercial recommendation. - Ensure timely delivery of goods. - Evaluate vendors based on performance. - Prepare and maintain records & documentation of all solicitations, communications, contracts, and related follow-ups. Qualification Required: - BE in Mechanical Additional Details: The candidate should have 6 to 8 years of experience in indirect purchasing, with experience in Pharma being preferred. Please note that the competencies expected for this role include technical understanding of Pharma Machines, Pharma consumables/Chemicals, Utility machineries (HVAC, Boiler, Water treatment, BMS, Pharma QC equipment, Power distribution, LT, HT, DG, etc.), analytical skills, negotiation skills, knowledge of applicable taxes for purchasing goods & services, proficiency in SAP (MM module), Excel, Word, Power Point, and good typing skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with others in a participative way.,
