The job requires a Planning Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Pharma Machine Manufacturing. The position is based in Ahmedabad with a negotiable salary range of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month, depending on the candidate's knowledge and expertise. As a Planning Engineer, your responsibilities will include planning for various Pharma Machines such as Injectable dry powder and liquid filling machines, as well as other types of machines like washing, sealing, capping, and labeling machines. You will be responsible for machine planning using the ERP system based on work order requirements and inventory control. Additionally, you will oversee machine and fabrication shop planning to meet the company's standards for quality. Your role will also involve preparing costing sheets for individual machines and projects to ensure cost benefits and effective negotiation with vendors to secure higher discounts. You will be expected to assign completion dates for each item on Bill of Materials (BOM) printouts and coordinate with relevant departments to update job cards, indents, and purchase printouts accordingly. Vendor development and selection, negotiation with vendors based on technical details, and upgrading vendors for new technologies and changes will be part of your responsibilities. You will be required to manage both imported and domestic vendors for Pharma Machinery Material, as well as plan and control raw material and spare material inventory.
