Procurement Specialist

You are a highly skilled and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist who will be joining our procurement team in Pune. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement of goods and services for our organization. You will play a crucial role in executing purchasing activities, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and maintaining inventory levels. Your key responsibilities will include executing end-to-end procurement processes, collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing requirements, identifying potential suppliers, managing supplier relationships, monitoring inventory levels, analyzing pricing trends, and maintaining accurate records of purchases and contracts. You will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in procurement and collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless coordination of procurement activities. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical design engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field, along with proven experience as a Purchasing Specialist or in a similar procurement role. You should possess in-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, contract negotiation techniques, and supplier management principles. Additionally, you should have the ability to read mechanical and structural drawings, excellent communication skills, proficiency in using procurement software systems or ERP platforms, and exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
