Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and resourceful Sourcing/Procurement Manager with deep domain expertise in stainless steel kitchenware and cutlery manufacturing. The ideal candidate must possess strong negotiation skills, vendor development capability, and sound market knowledge of steel utensils and related specialty products. The role requires managing procurement processes, driving cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of quality raw materials, accessories, and allied supplies for production.

Key Responsibilities:

 Identify, develop, and onboard suppliers across India specializing in stainless steel utensils, cutlery, cookware components, and packaging materials.

 Negotiate favorable terms for pricing, credit, and delivery schedules while ensuring consistent product quality and service levels.

 Maintain updated database of vendors, price trends, material availability, and alternative sources for risk mitigation.

 Evaluate and procure specialty products/components for custom or OEM projects.

 Coordinate closely with design, R&D, and production teams for sourcing of NPD (new product development) materials.

 Ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging, and other supplies as per production planning.

 Drive continuous cost improvement programs, supplier evaluations, and capacity assessments.

 Monitor market trends, commodity price fluctuations, and ensure strategic sourcing alignment with business goals.

 Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
