As Equipment Technician you are responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in their assigned area, while working in partnership with Shift Operations team members, area equipment engineers and tool vendors. Equipment Technicians monitor tool performance, schedule and perform preventative maintenance on assigned tool sets, and use mechanical, electronic and PC/software skills to repair equipment issues. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Ability to communicate including verbal and written English. Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers. Provide communication between Engineering, and Production team Provide feedback observations and data to the engineering group to help resolve chronic problems or experiments Assist engineer on projects to improve OEE . Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations teams to understand BOM requirements for new semiconductor products. Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers for raw materials including: Leadframes Die attach materials (e.g., epoxy, conductive adhesives) Mold compounds Bonding wires (Au, Cu, Al etc) Substrates (if applicable) Packaging consumables (tubes, trays, carrier tapes, cover tapes, reels) Lead RFQ/RFP processes, cost analysis, and negotiations to ensure competitive pricing and reliable delivery. Maintain close coordination with suppliers to ensure compliance with material specifications, quality requirements, and delivery schedules for NPD timelines. Work with Quality and Engineering teams to manage sample approval, first article inspection (FAI), and supplier audits. Manage documentation such as MSDS, RoHS/REACH declarations, and supplier agreements. Monitor market trends and risks related to raw materials and propose mitigation strategies. Support cost reduction initiatives, alternate sourcing, and supply continuity planning. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Engineering. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in MS Office.
Key Responsibilities: 1) 3+ years of experience in Production role with shopfloor experience. 2) Should have problem solving & good English communication skills. 3) Ability to handle manpower, Machine Production Planning, supervise the shop floor 35+ people. 4) Knowledge of ESD, 5S, KAIZEN, Continuous improvement & EHS. 5) Ability to communicate including verbal and written English. 6) Obtain required materials and tooling for assigned jobs 7) Prioritize and complete all tasks required to process product. 8) Manage time and efficiency to complete assigned job on time. 9) Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate any issues or problems encountered during setup or while processing product with respective concern teams. 10) Should be able to work in 12hr shifts.
