Procurement Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, supply terms, and service-level agreements.
• Ensure timely procurement of materials, equipment, and services while maintaining quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain long-term vendor relationships.
• Prepare purchase orders, manage procurement documentation, and maintain accurate records.
• Analyse market trends, pricing changes, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with internal departments Production, Finance, Operations, and Logistics for smooth supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant statutory guidelines.
• Continuously review and improve procurement processes for efficiency and cost optimization.
• Prepare periodic reports on procurement status, spend analysis, and vendor performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum

  34 years of experience

  in procurement or supply chain management (industry-specific experience preferred).
• Excellent

  English communication skills

  —both written and verbal.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP software.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/engineering/technology industry (as applicable).
• Knowledge of import/export procedures, customs regulations, and international procurement norms.
