Job Description

Leadership and Collaboration:
o Lead and collaborate closely with cross-functional senior stakeholders from Procurement, Finance, Tech, P2P, Risk & Compliance, Corporate Comms, and Project Management o Lead the design and thinking behind the Procurement HBS services o In collaboration with the Global procurement leadership develop and execute the Procurement services roadmap o Engage with Procurement, Finance Services, and Technology organizations to gather business requirements and design new business processes. o Work with Procurement leadership on the pipeline of work to resource each project and task according to skill, business demand and criticality and identify needs for more resources or where resources are not being used effectively ( on the bench ). Provides options to use resources more effectively Process leadership & execution: o Manage operations for sourcing/onboarding external workforce o Manage travel related operational procurement activities o Manage TPRM service operational delivery o Lead design and execution of sourcing specialisms such as low spend management and low to medium spend contracting management Procurement Operations o Ensure smooth & uninterrupted support is provided to shoppers, buyers and suppliers to resolve their queries in a timely and efficient manner with minimum escalations o Ensure Procurement tools/platforms tools are widely used across procurement and users get the maximum value from them o Lead Operations team to ensure timely & quality support is provided to users o Identify pain points and trends to feed into the digital roadmap & support model o Monitor and measure compliance to procurement policies and procedures across HBS procurement and embed framework for the management of tasks conducted sub-optimally or not according to procedures o Be accountable for ensuring the agreed KPIs for HBS procurement are measured, tracked, resolved and improved continuously, achieving best practice levels. Team Management: o Develop the framework and plan for the recruitment of resources, including facilitating the development of criteria, skills, training needs, timeframes, etc. o Manage a team (~10-20 people built over time) performing defined procurement processes and operations and drive continuous improvements, ensuring Global Procurement can deliver maximum value to the business. o Manage the team capability and motivation, ensuring synergies and seamless collaboration happens across all levels Experience required Prior experience in managing a global and complex team Managing a complex and varied range of stakeholders Full understanding for core source to pay processes including technology supporting the process Experience in managing complex, high risk projects and programmes to improve performance and deliver service across a global organisation Desirable to have prior experience in managing Procurement responsibilities in a shared service centre
