1. Responsible Monthly, weekly material planning as per requirement through MRP in SAP. 2. Responsible Planning, scheduling & purchasing domestic & imported parts. 3. Floats enquiries & examines quotes for technical & commercial visibility for different items to buy material at competitive price. 4. Ensure correct stock & maintain min max level for each material depending on A, B, C classification. 5. Sound knowledge of BOM, change management, maintain & track the records in system. 6. Responsible for RM inventory management. Manages the inventory defined by company policies. 7. Cost forecast, cost benchmarking, cost control & reduction. Optimize cost as per budgeted targets through negotiations & new sources of material suppliers. 8. Zero base costing (ZBC) for new parts developments. 9. Maintain lead time in procurement depending upon lead time in manufacturing, transit time & supplier capability. 10. As per production plan, creating, releasing & sequencing purchase orders & scheduling agreement in SAP.
