Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and managing procurement activities as per organizational needs.
  • Source and evaluate vendors/suppliers for quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
  • Obtain quotes, compare prices, and negotiate contracts or purchase terms.
  • Maintain accurate purchase records, including POs, invoices, and payment status.
  • Track inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse/stores to prevent shortages.
  • Follow up with vendors for on-time delivery and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (accounts, logistics, store, etc.) for smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
  • Assist the Purchase Manager in budgeting and cost control.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement status and vendor performance.
