Key Responsibilities - Oversee end-to-end purchase operations and supplier management. - Develop new vendors for new products, innovations, or alternate sourcing. - Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and long-term contracts. - Implement cost-saving strategies and monitor budget compliance. - Ensure timely material availability by controlling lead times and reviewing schedules. - Monitor vendor rating, performance evaluation, and continuous improvement. - Coordinate with PPC, production, quality, and store teams for seamless operations. - Handle escalations related to supplier delays, quality issues, or cost deviations. - Prepare and review purchase MIS, reports, and dashboards for management. - Guide junior purchase staff and ensure process adherence.
