As a Procurement (Plant Items DEB-SCM) at Jakson Limited, your role involves procuring for the DG Plants at Kalsar & Phaltan to meet business requirements. You will bring standardization in purchase processes, develop flexible planning & control procedures, and maintain the Turnaround Time (TAT) of all processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Procurement of All A, B & C Class Raw Material. - Conduct product & local Vendor development by assessing Cost, Quality, Technology, and market share of potential vendors. - Evaluate Technical specifications and prepare RFQ/RA. - Utilize Zero Based/Shadow costing to determine tentative cost of commodity considering raw material input, manufacturing cost, etc. - Assist in developing policy/process/SOP and procurement to ensure smooth functioning of the supply chain aligned with business needs. - Develop supply chain processes and systems to ensure transparency and compliance in line with corporate standards. - Evaluate new and existing suppliers to maintain a robust supply base. - Achieve cost targets through negotiation with suppliers. - Communicate effectively with Stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of SCM process. - Coordinate with PPC for MRP and Clubbing of PRs. - Uphold the core values of the company within yourself and team members. **Qualification Required:** - Educational qualifications preferred: - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Materials Management. - Required work experience: - 5 to 10 years of Purchase experience for B.Tech holders. - 7 to 10 years of Purchase experience for Diploma holders. **Additional Details:** Jakson Limited is a Group Company that values positive thinking, analytical approach, PV Formula Based Costing / Zero Base Costing skills, honesty/integrity, passion to learn, teamwork, leadership skills in terms of mentoring & motivating the team, and time management skills.
