Role & responsibilities

Candidates will be part of the Technology and Telecom Procurement team. Will work on complete

sourcing responsible for Stakeholder Management, Technology buying (HW/SW/Telecom), Vendor

Selection, P2P, Contract Compliance, Vendor performance assessment, and negotiations.

You are responsible for:

• Interface with the internal IT/Tech teams on Requirement Analysis and Category specific

objectives.

• Provide active support in new source identification, assessment, and evaluation and as per

strategic sourcing process (RFI, RFP, RFQ and e-auction)

• Collaborate with internal teams (IT/ Tech/ Finance / Legal) to address commercial and technical

challenges to ensure timely implementation of Contracts/Agreements related to the assigned

category.

• Manage Source to PO workflow related to the commodities with appropriate documentation and

compliance.

• Periodic reporting to project team / requester and Procurement leadership on status, issues, and

corrective actions.

• Collaborate with businesses on developing vendor performance metrics and Key Performance

Indicators (KPI) for service partners

• Co-ordinate periodic vendor reviews and publish vendor performance metrics.
• Build and Manage effective internal and external relationships within the Sourcing, client team

and service partners and wider business.

• Act as a pivotal point of escalation for managing Vendor performance: Identify Service partners

issues and Co-ordinate resolution process (Commercial and Qualitative)

Strong technical skills in Technology (IT, Networking & Data Centre) domains. Passion for

technology.

• Strong Procurement domain skills and experience. Well versed with Purchase cycle, negotiation

strategies, supplier management and costing principles.

• Strong contracting skills.
• Good connection and understanding of the Technology vendor landscape. Able to lead Supplier

centric initiatives.

• Strong analytical skills.
• Proactive collaboration with internal stakeholders and meet internal customer satisfaction

targets.

• Understanding of Local & International Tax laws.
• Exposure to national /international logistics is desirable.
• Self-starter. Understands and delivers on Procurement performance metrics.
• Proven skills in Vendor Profile Evaluation, Performance Assessment and Vendor Management
• Ability to understand, translate customer requirements and find appropriate solutions with quick

turnaround time and meet organizational and stakeholder expectations.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and businesses to drive the Service

procurement requests to closure.

• Excellent diligence in contract management and adherence to compliance directives.
