As a Procurement Executive/Senior Executive at our multinational engineering and R&D services company in Bangalore, your role will involve managing the IT Applications & Cyber Security spend pool. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services. - Processing purchase orders and handling follow-up requirements. - Managing relationships with suppliers and business stakeholders. - Negotiating contracts and managing supplier performance to ensure compliance with agreed terms. - Developing and maintaining a comprehensive supplier database and ensuring all procurement activities comply with local laws and regulations. - Driving process improvement, automation, and digitalization initiatives. - Ensuring accurate reporting of procurement activities and metrics. To excel in this role, you should have: - 3-6 years of experience in procurement and strategic sourcing, specifically managing Cyber Security, Information Security, IT applications, with a proven track record of cost savings and supplier relationship management. - Proven experience as an IT buyer, Software licensing, or a similar role in an Engineering R&D, IT, ITES company. - In-depth knowledge of procurement and sourcing practices and tools. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. - Working knowledge of SAP HANA, ARIBA Sourcing, and Microsoft Office. - Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Qualification required: - Bachelor's degree in engineering.
