As a valued member of the Procurement team for Wind Turbine Generator (WTG) fleets, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - Lead procurement activities for spares and components across various WTG makes such as Gamesa, Regen, Inox, etc. - Manage the complete procurement process from RFQ generation to PO issuance. - Ensure adherence to internal and external audits, including QMS, EMS, and Safety standards. - Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation utilizing SAP MM module. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and timely sourcing. - Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable commercial terms and ensure compliance with Indian contract law. - Assist in EXIM processes and documentation for international procurement. - Travel to vendor locations and project sites as needed for procurement and vendor development. - Create and deliver impactful presentations for both internal and external stakeholders. - Thrive in a digital-first environment by showcasing strong data management and reporting skills. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills and competencies: - Demonstrated experience in procurement within the wind energy sector. - Proficiency in negotiation techniques and vendor management. - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. - Knowledge of commercial clauses and financial instruments like Bank Guarantees. - Understanding of global and local supply chain dynamics within the wind industry. - Exposure to audit processes and compliance frameworks. - Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.,
