Procurement Head

As the Head of Procurement at 4K Sports Infra Pvt. Ltd., based in Hyderabad, you will be responsible for leading the procurement function with a focus on sports infrastructure, construction, or related industries. Your role will report directly to the Director and require a minimum of 6-10 years of experience in procurement. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate and verify Bills of Materials (BOM) for accuracy. - Source, negotiate, and finalize vendor contracts and pricing agreements. - Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and Work Orders (WOs). - Monitor material procurement timelines to prevent project delays. - Evaluate vendor performance and maintain a reliable vendor database. - Verify and approve bills submitted by vendors and contractors. - Oversee material distribution to project sites, ensuring cost efficiency. - Coordinate with transporters for timely material dispatches. - Maintain updated records of inbound/outbound vehicle movements. - Maintain accurate records of all procurement transactions. - Ensure compliance with procurement policies, quality standards, and cost controls. Key Skills Required: - Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes. - Proficiency in evaluating BOMs and vendor bills. - Excellent negotiation and communication skills. - Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office. - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Knowledge of sports infrastructure or construction industry is a plus. Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA preferred). - Minimum 6 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
