Role & responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management

Identify and onboard reliable new suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
Negotiate favorable long-term contracts to achieve cost and quality goals.

Cost Optimization & Budget Compliance

Monitor and control procurement expenses to ensure they align with the budget.
Achieve targeted cost reductions without compromising material quality.

Inventory Management

Collaborate with production and logistics teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
Minimize lead times and ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules.

Process & Technology Improvements

Implement ERP and digital tools for tracking, reporting, and optimizing procurement.
Streamline and automate procurement processes for greater efficiency.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure legal and regulatory compliance through robust documentation and supplier audits.
Develop and implement hedging mechanisms to protect against price fluctuations.

Supplier Performance & Quality Assurance

Monitor supplier performance through KPIs such as delivery timelines and quality metrics.
Establish corrective action plans for underperforming suppliers.

Stakeholder Engagement

Coordinate with production, finance, and sales teams to align procurement activities with business objectives.
Provide regular performance reports to senior management on cost savings, risks, and supplier performance.
