Procurement Head

As a Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing purchasing strategies to drive the organization's success. Your responsibilities will include: - Discovering profitable suppliers and initiating beneficial business partnerships. - Negotiating with external vendors to secure advantageous terms and procure parts and materials at negotiated rates. - Preparing comparative cost estimations with the help of collected proposals and approving the ordering of necessary goods and services. - Finalizing purchase details of orders and deliveries while ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications. - Examining and testing existing contracts, tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses, and improve effectiveness. - Collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations. - Identifying potential alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients and preparing control strategies. - Performing risk management for supply contracts and agreements, controlling spend, and fostering a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs. Qualifications required for this role include: - Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 15 years of experience or above. - Candidates with prior experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies will only be considered.
