Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials, packaging materials, and other required items.
• Obtain and compare quotations to achieve cost-effective procurement.
• Negotiate prices, credit terms, and contracts with vendors.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, supplier agreements, and procurement documentation.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse and production teams for replenishment.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow up with vendors regarding order status, delays, and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with finance for invoice reconciliation and payment processing.
• Maintain supplier performance reports and support continuous improvement.
• Stay updated on market trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sources of supply.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (BBA, B.Com, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or sourcing (experience in scientific/organic/chemical industry is a plus).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Basic understanding of procurement processes and documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
