Job Title: Procurement ExecutiveLocation: BangaloreReports To: Procurement ManagerJob Overview: The Procurement Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the procurement process within the organization. They work closely with various departments to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The Procurement Executive will also be involved in developing and implementing procurement strategies, as well as identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to ensure efficient and effective procurement processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, such as project managers, finance, and operations, to understand their procurement needs and allocate resources accordingly.
  • Identify potential suppliers and vendors, evaluate their capabilities, negotiate terms and conditions, and establish long-term relationships to ensure a reliable and competitive supply chain.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, new products, and innovative procurement strategies.
  • Manage the procurement process, including issuing and evaluating RFQs (Request for Quotations), RFPs (Request for Proposals), and RFIs (Request for Information).
  • Review and analyze supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance, including delivery times, quality of goods and services, and adherence to contractual agreements.
  • Oversee inventory management and coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including contracts, bids, and supplier information.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in procurement to drive continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to enhance collaboration and performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement principles, best practices, and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation and legal terms and conditions.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and MS Office suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
