Job Description

The candidate must possess in-depth functional knowledge of the process area and apply it to operational scenarios to provide effective solutions. The candidate must be able to identify discrepancies and propose optimal solutions by using a logical, systematic, and sequential methodology. It is vital to be open-minded towards inputs and views from team members and to effectively lead, control, and motivate groups towards company objects. Additionally, the candidate must be self-directed, proactive, and seize every opportunity to meet internal and external customer needs and achieve customer satisfaction by effectively auditing processes, implementing best practices and process improvements, and utilizing the frameworks and tools available. Goals and thoughts must be clearly and concisely articulated and conveyed, verbally and in writing, to clients, colleagues, subordinates, and supervisors.

Process Manager Roles and responsibilities:

Strong Analytical Skills & Domain Knowledge

Advanced skills in exploratory data analysis, trend identification, variance analysis, and opportunity diagnostics
Ability to work with large product catalogs and competitive datasets across multiple ecommerce (focus on automotive) categories and regions

Domain-Specific Applications

Experience in market intelligence, digital shelf analytics, assortment gap identification, functional substitute mapping, pricing and promotion analysis
Conduct competitive benchmarking and category performance analysis across B2B ecommerce platforms and distribution channels

Data Management & Visualization

Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Python for data preparation, transformation, and analysis
Strong data visualization skills using Power BI / Tableau to communicate complex findings
Experience handling structured/unstructured product data feeds, syndicated market data, POS data, and inventory/stock data
Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, assortment gaps, competitor pricing, and promotional activity
Support category managers and merchandising teams with actionable insights to optimize product strategy
Develop dashboards and regular reports to track assortment performance, competitive positioning, and digital shelf share
Support cross-functional teams with ad-hoc data requests related to pricing, market intelligence, and assortment planning
Translate analytical insights into clear business recommendations for leadership

Stakeholder Engagement

Work closely with product management, merchandising, sales, and pricing teams to align analytical outputs to business needs
Communicate insights and recommendations to business and technical audiences effectively

Business Impact & ROI

Monitor key business KPIs across assortment, market share, price positioning, and competitive coverage
Drive ROI-focused analytics projects that improve revenue, margin, and competitive differentiation

Technical and Functional Skills:

Senior Data Analyst with 8+ years of experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Advanced certifications in Data Analysis, BI Tools (Power BI, Tableau), or SQL programming are an added plus.
