Process Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Process Engineer to support and optimize fixture design, development, and manufacturing processes. The role involves evaluating production methods, improving efficiency, ensuring quality, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in fixture manufacturing. The Process Engineer will collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to deliver cost-effective, high-precision fixtures that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for fixture production (CNC machining, VMC, wire-cut, grinding, assembly, etc.).
• Support fixture design review in coordination with design and project teams.
• Prepare and validate process flow diagrams, work instructions, and SOPs for fixture manufacturing.
• Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and process capability studies (Cp, Cpk).
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time, cost, and defects.
• Support fixture installation, trials, and validation at customer sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ISO standards during manufacturing.
• Train operators and technicians on fixture manufacturing methods and best practices.
• Collaborate with quality team to ensure first-time-right (FTR) manufacturing.
• Maintain process documentation, including PFMEA, control plans, and production records.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of fixture design and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience with CNC, VMC, EDM, surface grinding, and assembly processes.
• Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, NX, etc.).
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, and machining practices.
• Understanding of Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma tools.
• Good problem-solving, root cause analysis, and analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings & process documents.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹320,697.70 - ₹1,265,338.02 per year
