Job Summary:
The Process Engineer will be involved in process system design of multi-discipline projects. Will also work on multiple projects simultaneously, while ensuring all project deadlines are met. The Intermediate Process Engineer will be responsible for producing design from practical concept through to commissions.

Support the Lead Process Engineer in coordinating/communicating various issues that affect the process engineering design, safety, and regulatory compliance of the work.
- Responsible for ensuring that Management of Change (MOC) on Project design is performed according to established procedures, and work with the Business Unit to ensure MOC adequately documents rational.
- Facilitate and coordinate all process engineering technical work products, is responsible for technical input on facilities sharing/allocation issues.
- Leads vessel inspections and documents internal configurations, is responsible for all interfaces relating to catalyst licensors.
- Evaluate / comment work performed to ensure that the work is being executed in accordance with project specifications, COMPANY standards, and regulatory requirements. Includes review of process design drawings, documents, and specifications.
- Identify and assess deviations to Contract Technical Specifications and regulatory requirements; ensure that such deviations will be processed according to project procedures and maintains Deviation Control Log.
- Contributes to the development all of Project Report and protocols to ensure a successful GATE compliance review.
- Keep Lead Process Engineer informed of process engineering progress, deviations, and execution concerns.
- In collaboration with the Lead Process Engineer, gain alignment with the PMT on project engineering needs, objectives, and requirements:
- Conduct project team member briefing sessions with respect to process engineering requirements and processes.
- Participate actively in the project's change management program.
- Steward the process of capturing and communicate process engineering and design lessons learned for the project.

Minimum of ten (10) years broad experience in all project phases i.e. engineering, procurement, and construction.
- Minimum five (5) years specific involvement in major process design.
- Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Process design experience including process mass balances, process flow diagrams and process support services.
- Systems design experience including piping and instrument diagrams, cause and effect diagrams, hazard and operability design reviews and systems support services.
- Proficiency with HYSYS and related simulation software.
Education Qualifications:
- Professional Engineer (P. Eng.)
- B.Sc. Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum 5-9 years oil and gas experience (with EPCM background).
