Job Description

Job Summary:

The Process Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the production process for the sweet line, ensuring smooth operations, quality control, and compliance with safety and hygiene standards. They coordinate between various departments, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production Management:

  • Monitor and coordinate the production process to ensure efficiency.
  • Maintain production schedules and minimize downtime.
  • Ensure proper use of machinery and raw materials.
  • Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that products meet company quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct inspections and work with quality control teams to address deviations.
  • Implement corrective actions for any process-related defects.
  • Process Optimization:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Analyze production data to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Work with the R&D team for process modifications and new product development.
  • Compliance & Safety:

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and hygiene standards in food production.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and provide training to workers.
  • Maintain proper documentation for regulatory compliance.
  • Team Coordination:

  • Coordinate with production staff, quality assurance, maintenance, and supply chain teams.
  • Train and guide operators for process improvements and SOP adherence.
  • Resolve workflow bottlenecks and operational challenges.
  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance Support:

  • Identify and report equipment issues to the maintenance team.
  • Assist in preventive maintenance planning to avoid unexpected breakdowns.
  • Work closely with the technical team for continuous machine performance improvements.
  • Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain records of production, wastage, machine performance, and shift reports.
  • Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to management.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of food processing, production planning, and quality control.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and food safety regulations.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet production deadlines.
  • Good communication and team coordination skills.
  • Hands-on experience with automated production lines (preferred).
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and production tracking software (a plus).

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:

     Diploma/Degree in Food Technology related field.
  • Experience:

     2-5 years in a similar role in the FMCG/food manufacturing industry.
