Job Description

Job Summary:

The Process Associate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operational processes across the jewellery manufacturing, quality control, and supply chain functions. This role ensures smooth coordination between departments, maintains documentation, monitors production activities, and ensures compliance with industry and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and monitoring the production workflow from raw materials to finished jewellery products.
  • Coordinate with design, manufacturing, quality control, and packaging teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Maintain accurate records of material consumption, wastage, and production output.
  • Support implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all departments.
  • Perform data entry, report generation, and document handling in ERP or MIS systems.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products as per company and client specifications.
  • Liaise with vendors and internal departments to ensure smooth procurement and inventory management.
  • Assist in auditing and compliance activities, including certification, hallmarking, and documentation.
  • Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce wastage.
  • Maintain hygiene, safety, and security standards, especially in the handling of precious metals and stones.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Jewellery Design/Manufacturing, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in the jewellery industry or a similar process-driven environment (freshers with internships will also be considered for junior roles).
  • Familiarity with jewellery manufacturing processes (casting, polishing, stone setting, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and ERP systems (like SAP, Oracle, or industry-specific software).
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision, especially in quality-sensitive tasks.
  • Ability to multitask and work under deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Knowledge of jewellery hallmarking standards (BIS, GIA, etc.).
  • Basic understanding of gemstones and precious metals.
  • Experience working in ISO-certified or export-oriented units (EOUs).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
