Private Equity Analyst

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Private Equity Analyst to join our investment team. The role involves supporting capital raising initiatives, conducting in-depth financial modeling, managing investor relations, and leading the due diligence process for new deals. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.

 Key Responsibilities:


Capital Raising & Investor Communication

  • Develop, design, and maintain high-quality pitch decks and investor presentations for equity and debt capital raising initiatives.
  • Support the preparation of investment teasers, information memorandums, and other fundraising materials.
  • Assist in identifying, engaging, and maintaining relationships with investors, lenders, and other capital providers.
  • Coordinate responses to investor queries and provide regular updates on portfolio and deal progress.


Financial Modeling & Valuation

  • Build, maintain, and update Leveraged Buyout (LBO) models to evaluate potential investment opportunities.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and financial forecasting to support decision-making.
  • Analyze key metrics, business performance drivers, and capital structure implications for target investments.


Deal Execution & Due Diligence

  • Lead and project manage the due diligence process for transactions from start to close.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for Quality of Earnings (QoE), technology due diligence, legal review, and other specialized assessments.
  • Manage the virtual data room, ensuring all required documentation from the seller is collected, organized, and updated.
  • Track deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities to ensure efficient deal execution.


Market & Sector Research

  • Conduct market, competitor, and sector analysis to identify investment trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare research briefs and industry reports to support investment decisions.


Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience in Private Equity, Investment Banking, Management Consulting, or a related investment role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling (especially LBO modeling), valuation techniques, and Excel.
  • Excellent presentation skills with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of capital structures, debt instruments, and equity investments.
  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously.
  • High attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
