Job Description

The Primary Coordinator will oversee and support the academic and operational functioning of the primary grades. The role involves mentoring teachers, ensuring effective curriculum implementation, monitoring student progress, and enhancing the overall learning environment in alignment with the school’s vision and values. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the primary teaching team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement. Oversee the planning and implementation of the curriculum across primary grades. Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers. Coordinate assessments, evaluations, and reporting of student progress. Organize teacher training programs and professional development workshops. Facilitate parent interactions, addressing academic concerns and ensuring clear communication. Work closely with the Principal and other coordinators to align academic goals. Encourage innovative teaching strategies and the integration of technology in classrooms. Ensure adherence to school policies and curriculum standards. Support and supervise the planning of events, assemblies, field trips, and co-curricular activities for the primary section. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or relevant discipline. B.Ed. is mandatory. Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in primary grades, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of early and primary years’ pedagogy.
