Job Description

We are seeking a Presales Consultant to assist in the pursuit process of the ERP product EXPAND smERP. In this role, you will be responsible for customer requirements analysis during the pursuit process, align the client requirements to the EXPAND smERP and configure the demo environment to show the entire flow as well as the specific features which are applicable to the clients’ business scenarios. As we constantly improve our product, you will play a key role in translating customer requirements into new solutions and capabilities. Your role will also play a pivotal role in driving the sales team’s success.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of EXPAND smERP to effectively showcase its features during the client demos. System configuration capabilities also need to be acquired for demo purposes.
  • Get involved in the pre-sales phase to interact with the prospects & understand their business requirements & pain points. Then you need to link these problems to the solutions available in the EXPAND smERP.
  • Conducting requirement gathering and gap analysis based on the client’s business.
  • Conduct detailed product demonstrations for prospective clients. Provide inputs and play key role in aligning the demo to the clients’ business problems.
  • Prepare follow up documentation highlighting and addressing what we delivered and the new areas, if any. Also close the pending action items, if any.
  • Prepare the final proposal in consultation with sales team and the management.
  • Drive closure by internal follow ups and ensuring that all the activities are closed.
  • Should be open to try new and improved methods in the continuous pursuit of solving clients’ problems and driving sales effectively and efficiently.
  • Internally work as the VOC (voice of customer) to ensure that the EXPAND smERP may be improved continuously. 


Requirements:


  • MCom or MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification in a related domain.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and workflows, particularly in the manufacturing sector.
  • Should be conversant with, or able to pick up the KPI based mapping of business.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Should be a hands-on professional. Should be open to roll-up-the-sleeves and configure any new system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and Word.
  • Good understanding of basic accounting and taxation principles.
  • Self-driven and moved by the problem-solving attitude.
  • Willingness to travel, if the requirement arises.
