About the Role

As a Pre-Sales Executive, you will be the first point of contact for prospective customers and play a critical role in driving revenue growth. You will engage with inbound and outbound leads, qualify prospects, understand their business needs, and move high-intent opportunities forward in the sales pipeline. This role requires strong communication skills, discipline in CRM management, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced SaaS environment. You will work closely with the sales and product teams to ensure a seamless handoff of qualified leads and deliver a high-quality customer experience at every interaction.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound leads and sign-ups and perform lead qualification
  • Make outbound and inbound sales calls to prospective customers
  • Conduct customer discovery to understand requirements and use cases
  • Maintain regular follow-ups to move leads through the sales funnel
  • Schedule product demos and coordinate with the sales/closing team
  • Update and manage CRM systems with accurate lead and deal information
  • Ensure pipeline management and opportunity tracking
  • Share customer insights and feedback with sales and product teams
  • Meet daily and monthly KPIs including calls, qualified leads, and conversions
  • Work in a fast-paced SaaS sales environment with changing priorities

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in pre-sales, inside sales, telecalling, or customer-facing roles
  • Ability to explain SaaS product value propositions clearly
  • Comfortable with high-volume calling and follow-ups
  • Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, or similar)
  • Strong time management, organization, and ownership mindset
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to handle rejection and maintain consistent engagement

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in B2B SaaS sales or technology products
  • Familiarity with lead qualification frameworks (BANT, MEDDICC, etc.)
  • Exposure to sales automation tools and workflows
  • Understanding of inside sales processes and sales funnel management
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth environment
